[Wooridul News]Wooridul Hospital Health Stairs Campaign

Hello!
Today, I am going to introduce one of the campaigns that Wooridul Hospital is going with.
It's called Wooridul Hospital Health Stairs Campaign.

It requests the Wooridul staffs to use "the 100 years old health stairs",
and give a chance to the patients to use the elevators.
As much as we use the stairs, the health must improve so much,
and the patients will be more convenient!

How to join this program?

1. Just use stairs from 1st floor to the 16 floor.
2. Only one stamp is available per day

If you get 1 coupon full with 10 stamps,
you can get a cup of coffee or use 2000won in the cafeteria in Wooridul Hospital
If you get 2 coupon full with 20 stamps,
you can get a 5000won coupon at Wooridul Human Resource Department and
the coupon can be used in Starbucks.

Coupons and stamps are on the 16 floor where staff cafeteria is located.
Aww, it's to promote people to use stairs when they are going to have a meal during their work.

This is how the stairs look like.
K-calories are written down on the left side of stair,
and health lifespan is written down on the right side.

This picture shows us lifespan will be 4 seconds longer by each steps.

This is what I took when I got on the 16th floor.
328 stairs were there.
From the 1st floor to the 16th floor, 49.2Kcal has burned
and the lifespan is 21 minutes and 9 second longer.

It was really tiring but I felt like I was getting healthier!

When you get on the 16th floor, there is a coupon available.
Start date, department, and name have to be written on the coupon,
and post on the board which is also on the 16th floor.

There are lots of coupons on the board already.
Wooridul staffs are trying to use stairs and give elevators to the patients
for their convenience.

The every steps help muscle increase, fat decrease, metabolic rate increase.
These little things in our days can change our health!

So, I will come with the relationship
between using stairs and spine health in the next post!
