About a 20-minute walk from Apgujeong Station is the flourishing area that surrounds the Galleria Department Store. This area is often referred to as Korea's Rodeo Drive, with glittering businesses ranging from expensive designer stores to unique vintage clothing shops. The young and fashionable gather here, and you can enjoy the simple pleasure of people-watching. Korean celebrities frequent Apgujeong-dong and star-sightings are not common. One block away is Cheongdam-ro(street) which is lined with boutiques, are galleries, trendy cafes and bars.

The various Korea, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai and fusion restaurants in the district are more than enough to satisfy the demanding tastes of visitors. Many people also meet here at night for the jazz bars, terrace cafes and tent bars.
