Along with leading university hospitals in Korea, such as Samsung Seoul Hospital, Seoul National University Hospital, Asan Medical Center, and Gangnam Severance Hospital, we were ranked 5th out of 10 domestic hospitals.

Newsweek said hospitals on this list lead in their use of AI, robotic surgery, digital imaging, telemedicine, smart buildings, information technology infrastructure and EHRs.

Dr. Sang-ho Lee, Chairman of Wooridul Spine Hospital, said, "The 250 best smart hospitals in the world selected by Newsweek this time are mostly general hospitals or university hospitals. We competed with world-renowned hospitals as a specialty hospital dealing only with the spine. It is meaningful that we received a higher score than many other general hospitals." He said, "As the No. 1 smart (digital) spine specialty hospital, we will continue to provide the most advance technology of spine total care. We will do our best to realize spinal treatment without sequelae, safe treatment for the elderly in their 80s and 90s, and a spine treatment that guarantees a happy life after surgery.”
